Obie-GYN at Crucial Turning Point

Eager Readers,
We are pleased to introduce a brand new service to the interweb viewing public. Welcome to the launch of the only authentic Obie-GYN blog (accept no substitutes).

No longer will you need to be content with waiting by the mailbox for your copy of Obie-GYN. No longer will you be kept up at night wondering, "Who's the editor this month anyway?"

We are not yet sure to what direction this publication will tend. Will it supplant the paper copy or supplement it? Do we care more about trees or do we care more about our readers' sensory experience of a tangible piece of mail, and the warm, tender feelings that necessarily well up when receiving the same?

Your voices will be heard. (Metaphorically speaking of course. We don't really want to hear your actual voices, they're kind of scratchy and high-pitched. This is why we screen your calls.)

Fond regards,
The Editorial Board

Our first topic:

Does Obie-GYN have any business on the internet?

  • Some of you may worry that without the expectation of a bi-annual a newsletter featuring tidbits of information about people who've probably forgotten all about you, you might have nothing left to live for. Should Obie-GYN take away your last hope by publishing online?

  • Others of you may feel that Obie-GYN's anti-technology faction has wielded the reigns of power for far too long. The internet, the future, and beyond!

  • Can a compromise be reached without the loss of human life? Perhaps only the choicest cuts will be permitted into the paper circulation while any authorized user will be allowed to post whatever drivel s/he (wrongly) believes to be interesting on this electronic forum. Perhaps you have a better idea.

Discuss.
